 second cousin twice 
 removed.

 This is also the second
 marriage between the Pace
 and Bird families of this
 generation.

 Two sisters married two
 Brothers. I'm sure this
 happened quite often in
 the 1800s.

 Joseph was about 40 when
 he married 20 year old 
 Sarah.
