Well I was Born in Baltimore Md in 1960. I when to school in Ellicott City (elem, and jr high)
I graduated from Loch Raven Sr High in 1978. I worked in a lab making circuit boards for a year and in
1980 I joined the US Navy as a gunners mate.
I went to bootcamp and my first schools in Great lakes Il. Then I traveled to San Diego Ca for "C' school before
going to my first ship the USS Blandy which was in the Pursian Gulf at the time.
The Blandy was a Destroyer DD943 and was Decommisioned after comming back across the Atlantic in heavy seas.
I Was given a new ship, the USS Ainsworth FF1090. It was a Frigate, and while on board it went to ST Thomas,
the Azors, Beruit, the Maldives, Suez Canel, Bahrain, Diego Garcia, New York. New York? Yup!
It was stationed out of Norfolk Va. I made GMG3 before a got my honerable discharge.
I now work for the Local government. doing GIS mapping. Pretty dull huh.
Of course I'm married! I met Jennifer Lynn in New York City. No not in the Navy.
We both worked for the same firm. I was working in the EPA office microhftforming
documents covering love Canel for the superfund project.
She was in the MCI office both of which are in the wall street district and we
stayed in the Iroquois hotel on 48th street off Avenue of the Americas.
After about 3 months in New York City playing the tourist roles we requested to be sent to the same sights.
We married in 1988 on February 14,
less then 6 months after we met.
