Joannes Henricus Voelcker had at least three children with Anna Maria Fleischbein and may have remarried after he arrived in the United States. I have very little about their lives.

I'm sure with the turmoil in Germany in that 
period it was a good time it immigrate to the 
United States. They gave up everything to 
chance crossing the Atlantic for a new life. 
I have never found any records that Anna Maria 
made the trip with them. Perhaps she was sent 
ahead with other children or it is very likely 
she passed away before the family left. 
It could have been a contributing factor for 
the family leaving. I’m sure I will never know.
