 but her parents moved to 
 Doon, Iowa As a young
 girl she spent a year
 with her Grandparents
 in Pennsylvania and
 attended Ingamar School.
 She graduated  High
 School In Arthur Iowa.
 She married Robert C.
 Madsen in 1943. In 1944 
 they moved to Sioux City
 Iowa. In 1987 Marguerite
 move to Florida after

Marguerite had taught school for three years until she started raising a family at which time she stayed at home as a homemaker and seamstress. . She was a Boy Scout leader, member of a quilting club and enjoyed sewing. She was a member of Riviera United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg and Grace United Methodist Church in Sioux City. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
